Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The room I stayed in had a view of the cathedral and warmed up quickly once the radiators were on. However, being near the fire escape with a bright light and a loud extraction fan was a bit distracting at times. The hotel was reasonably priced at £90, which was a plus.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The noise intrusion in the room made it hard to get quality sleep, and the worn-out carpets and shoddy repairs in the bathroom were quite tiring. On the bright side, the suite for the bride was outstanding, but the constant air conditioning blowing all night was a bit bothersome.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The location was excellent, very close to the Castle, Cathedral, bars, and restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, although it did take a while for the room to warm up initially. The service was friendly and accommodating, but there were some lapses that could be improved. The dining experience was enjoyable overall, with minor service issues. It's a lovely place to stay in Lincoln's old town, despite some minor drawbacks.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were nice with a comfortable bed, but they didn't match the photos as expected. Finding someone's scissors in the plug hole was a bit off-putting. The service, especially through head office, was disappointing as they seemed disinterested and unhelpful unless prompted. On the bright side, the hotel staff themselves were very nice and a credit to the establishment. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the beautiful uphill part of Lincoln, near the castle and cathedral, with the added bonus of convenient car parking. However, the property badly needed renovating. The dining experience didn't start well with long waits for breakfast, but it improved over time with a good selection, especially for vegetarians. The facilities were adequate, but there was room for improvement.
